OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Scientific studies have concluded that Nirvana records contain suicidal messages when played backwards.

Researchers have found that "Smells Like Teen Spirit" contains numerous backwards messages that urge listeners to kill themselves. One message includes the unlisted phone number of Dr. Kervorkian's Ethical Suicide Center, while another contains a plea from Kurt Kobain urging listeners to "do the shotgun."

A spokeswoman for the international Women Against Curt Kobain Organization (WACKO) urged the record-buying public to boycott all those "grunge groups" from Seattle.

She said that the word grunge is actually a derivation of the ancient Mesopotamian word 'grungie' which, roughly translated into modern English, means "do the shotgun."

"You have been warned. Listening to Nirvana may be very hazardous to your mental and psychological well being, and should be avoided at all costs."

That is total and utter bullsh!t. Nirvana are the best band EVER! Don't listen to that sh!te, ANYONE!!!

And by the way...his name is Kurt Cobain. NOT Curt Kobain, you sickos!!! Don't let that stupidly pathetic article stop you from listening to Nirvana. All of that stuff that the article says is absolute crap.

That is the biggest load of bullsh!t I've ever heard. Some mother against this or that group tells us to boycott Nirvana records just because of some bullshit study?

I say screw you. Quit trying to change the world and mess up things for people who don't believe in the same things you do.

Maybe your study told that but Kurt often said he was just making a joke when he sang about this.

He was not suicidal. He was killed from somebody who was told that by his wife. He wanted to get divorced from her. And his shotgun was bought to defend the house from outlaws.

Whoever came up with those ideas are really stupid. GRUNGE is derived from GRUNGIE? And that loosely translates to "do the shotgun"? Last time I checked, Cobain didn't come up with the word "grunge."

I bet there are many words that we can tie to something negative if you check every single language that has ever existed in the world, then loosely translate it. These women need something better to do. They really need a life.
